REFUND POLICY

By purchasing products or Services from Ebike Motor Repair, you agree to the policies and conditions outlined below. These policies are intended to create a fair, transparent, and consistent process for both customers and our service team.

Because many of our Services involve advanced diagnostics, remanufacturing, inspection, electronic testing, and installation-sensitive components, all return, warranty, and refund situations are subject to review and handled case-by-case.


30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

Most eligible products may be considered for return within 30 days of delivery.

Submitting a return request does not automatically guarantee acceptance of the return, refund, exchange, or warranty claim. All returns are subject to inspection and review upon receipt.


RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To be considered eligible for return, products should generally be:

  • In the same condition received
  • Free of signs of installation damage, misuse, abuse, or contamination
  • Returned with original packaging when possible
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Because many e-bike components are technical mechanical or electronic parts that may show signs of installation or testing during normal evaluation, final eligibility is determined after inspection by our team.

If a return is approved for review, we will provide instructions regarding packaging, shipping, and where to send the product.

Items returned without prior authorization or communication may be refused.


IMPORTANT SERVICE AND REPAIR DISCLOSURE

E-bike drive systems operate under highly variable real-world riding conditions that cannot always be fully reproduced during bench testing or inspection procedures.

While the vast majority of repairs and rebuilds are highly successful, certain conditions may only become detectable after installation into the bicycle and operation under rider load conditions.

These conditions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Planetary gear resonance
  • Load-dependent noises
  • Vibration-related conditions
  • Intermittent electronics behavior
  • Drivetrain harmonics
  • Frame interaction
  • Environmental variables
  • Mounting torsion effects

By using our Services, customers acknowledge that some edge-case conditions may not fully manifest during in-house testing alone.

If unusual situations arise after installation, Ebike Motor Repair may, at its sole discretion, offer troubleshooting assistance, warranty review, return evaluation, partial refund consideration, or full refund consideration depending on the specific circumstances.


WARRANTY AND RETURN REVIEW PROCESS

If a product or serviced motor is believed to have a defect, issue, or unresolved concern, the item must first be returned to Ebike Motor Repair for inspection and evaluation before any refund or warranty determination can be made.

Refunds, replacements, exchanges, or warranty outcomes are never automatically guaranteed and remain subject to inspection findings and review.

Any return or refund consideration involving serviced motors requires the return of the motor and installed components before review can be completed.


RETURN SHIPPING

For confirmed warranty-related issues or approved return situations, Ebike Motor Repair may provide a prepaid return shipping label at our discretion.

For customer-remorse returns, canceled projects, or non-warranty situations, return shipping is generally the responsibility of the customer.


RESTOCKING, PARTIAL REFUNDS, AND CONDITION REVIEW

In some situations, restocking fees, partial refunds, or denied returns may apply depending on:

  • Product condition
  • Installation damage
  • Contamination
  • Evidence of use
  • Missing packaging
  • Missing components
  • Inability to resell the item as new
  • Improper packaging during return shipment
  • Tampering or unauthorized disassembly

While many returns are processed with no issue at all, Ebike Motor Repair reserves the right to adjust refund amounts or deny returns in rare situations where products are returned damaged, heavily used, incomplete, improperly packaged, or materially different from their original condition.

Our goal is always to handle these situations reasonably, fairly, and professionally.


CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ITEMS

Customer-supplied hardware, drivetrain components, mounting hardware, wire harnesses, chainrings, crank arms, pedals, or other accessories left attached to motors are left at the customer’s own risk.

Ebike Motor Repair is not liable for missing, damaged, improperly installed, improperly torqued, or incompatible customer-supplied components.


FINAL INSTALLATION RESPONSIBILITY

Final installation, torque verification, fitment checks, drivetrain checks, and safety inspection remain the responsibility of the customer or installer after the motor is reinstalled into the bicycle.

Temporary installation of components during testing does not constitute final installation or safety verification.


EXCHANGES

Exchanges may be considered for defective, incorrect, or damaged products depending on availability and inspection findings.

In many cases, the fastest solution is to return the original item and place a new order separately once the return review is completed.


REFUND PROCESSING

Once a returned product or motor is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval, denial, partial refund determination, warranty outcome, or additional findings.

Approved refunds are generally processed back to the original payment method within approximately 7–10 business days after approval.

Original shipping costs, taxes, diagnostic time, labor already performed, or non-recoverable service work may not be refundable depending on the situation.
