SECTION 7 – CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ITEMS AND FINAL INSTALLATION RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are strongly encouraged to remove as many external components and accessories as reasonably possible before shipping a motor for service.

Customer-supplied items may include, but are not limited to:

– crank arms
– pedals
– chainrings
– chainring bolts
– mounting hardware
– covers
– wire harnesses
– drivetrain components
– aftermarket accessories
– non-standard hardware

Any customer-supplied items left attached to the motor are left at the customer’s own risk.

Ebike Motor Repair is not liable for:

– missing parts
– damaged parts
– improperly installed components
– improperly torqued components
– compatibility issues
– wear or failure of customer-supplied items

If any customer-supplied components are temporarily reinstalled during testing, this does not constitute final installation, safety verification, or torque verification.

Final installation, inspection, and safety checks remain the sole responsibility of the customer or installer once the motor is reinstalled into the bicycle.

SECTION 8 – DIAGNOSTIC LIMITATIONS AND LOAD-DEPENDENT CONDITIONS

E-bike drive systems operate under highly variable real-world riding conditions that cannot always be fully reproduced during bench testing or inspection procedures.

By submitting a motor for service, customers acknowledge and agree that:

1. Certain conditions may only become detectable after the motor is reinstalled into the bicycle and operated under rider load conditions.

These conditions may include, but are not limited to:

– planetary gear resonance
– load-dependent noises
– vibration-related conditions
– drivetrain harmonics
– frame interaction
– mounting torsion effects
– intermittent electronic behavior
– environmental or riding-condition variables

2. While Ebike Motor Repair performs extensive inspection and testing procedures before and after service, certain edge-case conditions may not fully manifest during in-house testing alone.

3. Repair outcomes cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance. Some motors may contain internal wear, fatigue, or damage patterns that are not economically repairable, only partially correctable, or may continue to exhibit symptoms despite passing standard testing procedures.

4. E-bike motors are high-load mechanical systems subject to ongoing wear, environmental ingress, contamination, vibration, and fatigue over time. Repair or overhaul does not constitute a guarantee of indefinite operation or elimination of all possible symptoms.

5. In rare situations where additional troubleshooting or review becomes necessary after reinstallation, Ebike Motor Repair may, at its sole discretion, offer troubleshooting assistance, warranty review, return evaluation, or refund consideration pursuant to company policy.

6. Refund or return consideration, when offered, requires return of the serviced motor and installed components to Ebike Motor Repair before any refund determination can be completed.

SECTION 9 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools or resources over which we have no control or responsibility.

Use of such tools is entirely at your own risk.
